A creative fusion between two sacred Peruvian rituals
In Peru, the 2026 World Cup and Father’s Day fall within the same festive week. The deli brand Salchichería Alemana and the agency Digitas Perú took advantage of this overlap to merge two national rituals: the football match and the traditional family barbecue. Together, they designed “The Grill Stadium”, an exclusive limited‑edition barbecue whose metal grate faithfully reproduces every line marking of a real football pitch.

Product design as a communication weapon against official sponsors
This clever idea allows the brand to enter the World Cup universe without paying any official licensing fees to FIFA. No textual mention of the tournament appears anywhere; the visual association is carried entirely by the geometry of the object. To promote the product, the campaign adopts the vocabulary of sports commentators. The central cooking circle becomes a “creative zone” for launching the sausage grilling action.

An in‑store activation to boost deli sales
This marketing operation extends a broader creative strategy aimed at transforming everyday objects into strong cultural symbols. To anchor the concept in real life, the brand launched a major contest in partner supermarkets across the country. Customers who spend a minimum amount can register via WhatsApp for a chance to win one of the six barbecues. As the agency reminds us, some unforgettable matches are ultimately won around a good grill.
